Protractor FE (Franchise Edition)

Overview

Each edition of Protractor software has the same complete set of core management and accounting features, including integrated Internet connectivity for Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions such as online parts ordering.

Protractor Franchise Edition is the choice for businesses with a Head Office and more than one location, such as a franchise operation. 

Description

The Franchise Edition is multi-user software capable of running on any number of workstations at any number of locations as in the diagram below.

In addition to Protractor's core features, this Edition includes:

• The ability to share Contacts among your Franchise locations *,
• The ability to share and transfer inventory among your locations,
• The ability to author all setup templates for your locations, and
• The reporting features required by your Head Office to support your franchise operation.

* Using the Franchise Edition, customer accounts receivable may (optionally) be handled by the Franchise Head Office, allowing customers to have repair work done at any Franchise location, and charge the work to their account. This is especially useful for large fleet accounts.

Client / Server

Technically, Protractor software is a Client / Server software system. When your business grows to include a requirement to separate your locations into Divisions, Protractor Software will easily grow with you.  Simply step up to Protractor Enterprise Edition - your database does NOT need to change.
