Search Contacts TourThe fastest way to locate a contact or vehicle record is to use the Contact Manager's Organize by Search Results tool. You can search for contacts by name, license plate, unit number, or phone number.
To search for a contact:
Open the Contacts Manager.
If the Contacts Manager is not displaying Contacts by Search Results, select Organize | by Search Results.
In the upper left pane (shown above), type the Plate number, Unit number, Phone number, or Name of the contact. You must enter at least three characters or digits of any of the fields, and all contacts with a match will be displayed.
By default, only the matching contacts from your business Location will be returned. If you would like to search for all matching contacts in your Enterprise, click the All Locations checkbox. You can set all locations as default in workstation defaults.
Click the Find Now tool, or simply press ENTER. The contacts or vehicles that match your search criteria will be listed in the Manager's tree view.
Note the number of records returned by the search in the toolbar to the right of the Find Now tool.
Locate the desired contact or vehicle record in the tree view.
Highlight the contact or vehicle to display its summary in the right pane.
Click on the Update tool to open the contact or vehicle. Alternatively, you may click on the right hand summary.
