Outstanding / Due Tab

The outstanding and due tab is divided into two sections. On the left side of the screen holds the outstanding information while the right side holds the due information.

Outstanding

The outstanding section of the vehicle card displays any work that was previously deferred on a work order. Deferred work is work that has been identified but the customer declined to have it done at that time. The work is then deferred to a future time and will appear during the writing of the next work order to remind the service advisor that it is still outstanding.

Any outstanding work holds all information at the time of deferral. If a deferred item was completely estimated and priced then it holds that information so it will not require a second estimate. It will also advise as to the date it was deferred on.

To Delete Outstanding Work
  1. Right click on the outstanding item.

  2. Click Delete.

Throughout the software, outstanding work uses the symbol.

Due

The due section shows work that is due or coming due with regards to the assigned maintenance plan and the forecasted next service date. This is determined by the vehicle's service history.

Identifies a service that is due or overdue.

When a service is due on the next visit, the date and/or mileage that the service is due on will be detailed.

When a service has no history on file, the detail will calculate the date of the first service due and display no history in brackets in lieu of the date. The date of the first service due is calculated from the vehicles production date. If no production date is present then the vehicle's year is used.

Identifies a service that is coming due at a later date.

Each service that is coming due at a later date will detail the date and/or mileage that the service or inspection is due on.
