For inventory pricing update settings, please review the price maintenance method in the location defaults.
Sell price defaults allows you to specify the profit margin to calculate for each service category (or sales department) with dollar thresholds. Essentially, you create a pricing matrix based on your cost in each category to calculate the desired selling price for non inventory parts. For instance, in the Electrical service category you might want a high margin on bulbs but a smaller margin on starters. You would set up margin calculations under electrical for each dollar threshold.
To access Sell Price Defaults.

Add - Creates a dollar threshold for the selected category.
Update - Allows you to update or modify an existing threshold.

Cancel - Exits without saving changes.
In all cases you will need to select a service category or department before you can add, update or delete a pricing threshold.
Tip: The first threshold added will always be from 0$ to infinity. Each additional threshold will be inserted accordingly.
