Right Click Context Menus

When working in almost every area of the software, clicking the right mouse button (right-clicking) displays a pop-up menu. Right click menus are often called context menus, because they contain a list of commands specific to the highlighted data.

Right Click Context menus are a very fast way to interact with the software, especially when using tree-views, lists and the Work Order Documents editor.

For example, if you single-click to select an item in the tree-view pane of the Purchases Manager window, then right-click, a pop-up menu is displayed which shows the actions that you can perform on the selected item.

Similarly, if you select one or more items on a Purchases Manager Reorder List and then right-click, a pop-up menu shows the actions you can perform on the selected items.

After the right click menu is displayed, simply click the appropriate the menu item.

NOTE: Although every tool available on a context menu is also available using toolbar tools and menus (usually kept under a Tools menu), it is almost always quicker to use the right-click context menus.
