The webinars are a supplement to the Inventory Materials Setup article, in which you can learn how to import inventory items that you have in an Excel spreadsheet (by exporting from an inventory database, for example). You can bring all of those items into Shop Manager by importing the entire spreadsheet. It quite easy if you use our step-by-step wizard to help you through it.
Importing inventory material cards from a spreadsheet (inventory import): Setup > Inventory Materials > Inventory Import.
When you prepare the spreadsheet file for import into Shop Manager, it's best to have as many fields as possible contain data so that you can reduce the amount of manual entries that are necessary later. These are the important column heading to have in your spreadsheet file.
