The help system is using the HTML5 standard and requires Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 9 or later, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or other browsers that support HTML5.
NOTE: Some training tours may be blocked in some browsers as they are in Flash format. Clicking on the security warning in the browser address bar will provide you the necessary options to allow the content to display. We are working towards updating all the tours to HTML5 format.

New Vital Signs Dashboard
When adding a new dashboard, there's a new "Vital Signs" type that is a better formatted dashboard that shows Vital Signs, summary and chart all in one screen.
The dashboard will also print better fitting a single page width. With summary and the chart printing after the table.
Inspection
Added a new Type column for inspection line for Inspection template
The new type column is available under Setup | Work Order Setup | Inspections. Edit any inspection template and go to the Inspection tab. The Type is edited with drop downs.
The type selects if any special measurement input should be used when editing the inspection result for this line.
The measurement input is aimed at simply measurements such as Tire Pressure, Tread Depth, Pads, or Rotors.
Any inspection line with a measurement input type set will show a special dialog that show LF, RF, LR, RR prompt and measurement input field. User can simply input the value and the inspection comment will be formatted automatically with the measurement values.
For any regular inspection line, the type should be left as blank.
Added a new Internal Note field on the inspection result editor on the work order editor.
Internal note entered is for viewing by the shop only and will not be output to any document
Any inspection line with a internal note entered will show a note icon on the right side.
Mouse over the internal note icon will show a tooltip with the actual note entered.
Work Order Holdover
Searching for work orders will now show any holdovers that's created for the work order.
User can open or edit the holdovers right from the search dialog.
On the work order editor in the work order summary area, holdovers will be listed if any.
Can open or edit the holdover from the links on the popup.
Catalog
Filter on the catalog now also filters on the comment. This allow you to filter comments such as Front / Rear brake components with some suppliers.
Addressed the issue where the Show availably item(s) only is not showing certain types of inventory availabilities.
Addressed certain issue with Lordco's WHI connection showing errors after placing order.
Integration API
Updated integration API so that service package template can be read from the enterprise.
Fixed an issue where blank links on Batch Add Materials cause an error dialog to be shown.
Fixed an issue with Quick Edit where re-assign all lines is not working correctly.
Fixed an issue where appointment's confirmation state is some times set incorrectly.
Fixed an potential issue where formatted text might be shown as plain text in messaging.
Fixed an issue with labor rate matrix entry dialog might not show the correct height.
Deferred work
Deferred work will now be show when searching for service packages just like past services.
This allow the user to add deferred work whenever adding regular services.
WHI
Part comment from OrderLink is now displayed in the comment column for WHI CatLink catalog.
Payable
You can now post supplier invoices using a back account or credit card account.
Text-to-Pay
Transaction date is now updated when Protractor receives the completion of Text-to-Pay transaction. This is so that the date shown in Payment Processing Transactions report matches that of the Cash Receipt.
BayIQ
Credit invoices will now be sent to BayIQ automatically when credit invoice is posted.
Fixed an issue where some times FirstMile transactions is reported by Protractor as failed because certain data fields are not returned by FirstMile client.
Fixed an issue where authorization is prompted when user first trying to authorize the work order right after going through new work wizard.
Fixed an issue where authorization is prompted as already exists right after the user completes an authorization.
Fixed an issue where enterprise service package template might cause duplicated trigger at the location.
Fixed an issue where scheduler booking hours is incorrectly including deleted holdover hours.
New Work Order Wizard
New Work Order Wizard now launches in a tab instead of a dialog so that user can now switch to other tasks in the middle of creating a new work order.
This even allows the user to create another new work order while in the process of creating the first one.
User will be prompted with all in progress work orders (if any) when they create new work orders.
There's a limit of 3 in progress new work order that can be left open. Once the limit has reached, user will not be able to create new work orders without finishing one that's currently in progress.
Work Order Wizard Flyout
The contact / vehicle flyout that has been see in all other work order editor is now in the New Work Order Wizard.
This allow the user to inspection the contact/vehicle and have access to invoices and other vehicle related information without the need to open / close dialogs.
For best result, setup the work order wizard to search for contact first. This way fly out will be available through the entire process of new work wizard.
Contact / Vehicle
Added a new Batch Print Invoice button on the invoice section of Contact / Vehicle dialog. This allow you to choose a date range to get a list of invoices, select the invoices you want to batch print. And then have the ability to either print them all or save them all as a PDF to a folder.
WHI
Added some logic to match WHI Nexlink and how backordered items should be handled within the system. This addresses some cases where backordered item is ordered but is treated as order failed in the Shop Manager.
Please note that Catalog Setting of WHI is being sunsetted by WHI. All WHI user should edit their supplier, go to the Catalog Setting tab and change Catalog Type from WHI to WHI Catlink. WHI Catlink offers a similar parts lookup and purchasing experience and should be a seamless switch over for all WHI users.
Automated text messaging
Added additional messaging template for automatically send text messages after a work order is saved as in progress, and after work order is saved as completed.
Fixed an issue where cross location ledger transaction might be saved incorrectly at the location.
Invoice Editing
You can now edit the in mileage / in usage on an invoice.
Inventory
Added support for alternative part number.
User can edit alternative part number by clicking on the Part Number link on the inventory item editor. This launches the Part ID editor.
There's a new button "Edit Alt P/N" that will allow you to easily edit the designated Alternate Part Number.
The designated Alternate Part Number has line code of "ALT_A". When in double, always use the "Edit Alt P/N" button to edit it. This particular part number has several additional features listed below.
There is a new setting "Show alternate part number column in the inventory search" under Setup | Location Settings | Inventory. This allow the designated alternate part number (with line code "ALT_A") to be shown as a column on inventory search. When this setting is checked, the alternative part number column will be populate.
All part numbers listed on the Part ID editor will be used to match inventory when searching by part number, including when showing if an inventory item is available or not on the supplier catalog. However, only the designated Alternate Part Number (with line code "ALT_A") can be batch updated and can be displayed in a separate column. This means that you can add many additional part numbers to match different suppliers. You just have to edit these manually one by one and will not able to batch update those.
Alternate part number can be use to match in Search by Part Number by checking "Matching alternate part numbers" option.
Alternate part number can be imported during inventory import and batch updated by using "Update inventory material information from a file".
Contact Editor
An issue has be fixed where Purchase Order Required or Default to email invoice only setting might be lost if user saved the contact without going to the Attributes section.
Please go through your list of users that should have Purchase Order Required or Default to email invoice set to on as they might be inadvertently turned off when you are updating other area of the contact record.
Reminder Item Report
Added two reports: Service Item Reminder Due List and Service Item Reminder Due Mailer under the CRM folder.
This allow the user to generate a list of Reminders and their due dates.
WHI
Added a new setting "Always place order at the main store." for WHI supplier for those supplier that want the user to always place the order against the main store regardless of the availability at other stores.
Allowing user to placed an order even if the item is not in stock all the stores. The order process now uses WHI OrderLink and this allow order to be placed at the main store even if it is not available at any store.
DYMO Printer Integration
DYMO printer printing out blank labels on Windows 10 is now fixed. The following steps must be performed to restore DYMO printer integration functionality.
User must make sure all latest Windows 10 updates are installed. Most importantly, user need to make sure KB5001649 is installed. You can download this update from Microsoft by click here. If you have all the latest Windows 10 updates installed, then this update should already been installed.
User must upgrade their DYMO software to DYMO Label v8.7.4. You can download the DYMO Label software by clicking here.
No other version of the DYMO Label software is supported. So please make sure your DYMO Label software says DYMO Label v.8.7.4 in Help | About DYMO Label
Added a new label preview for DYMO label printing so that you can see the label with all the data from Shop Manager populated on the label before it is printed out.
360 Payments
Added a new signature capture device type to support the up coming releasing of Android device support for 360 Payments.
General Ledger
The general ledger export now includes Last Modified and Last Modified By column showing when the ledger transaction is last modified and by which user.
Fixed an issue where breaks are not factored in the total hours available on the top of the technician prioritization / Technician work order editor.
Fixed an issue where message on web based online supplier might not be move away properly so that it might block part of the supplier's web page.
Fixed an issue where signature is not printed on Receivable Reconcile.
Fixed an issue where Inventory Attribute value is not synchronized from location to enterprise correctly.
Fixed an issue where Time Clock event is not synchronized from enterprise to location correctly.
Fixed an issue where Tag Definition is not synchronized from enterprise to location correctly.

Fixed an issue where editing the contact using the Launch Editor button from the flyout doesn't update the flyout after changes are saved.

Added the same popup detail on the Resource Tab of the Prioritization
Added a new close button to the flyout so user can click the X on the top right to close the flyout.
Added a editor button on the top of the first tab (contact and vehicle) so that user can launch to contact / vehicle editor easily.
The flyout will restore to last used tab so that user can go back and forth between the flyout and the work order editor.
The flyout will be restored when the work order editor is re-activate so that user can open an invoice form the flyout and come back to see the invoice list.
Added an Apply button the Fluid Capacity so that the fluid capacity can be re-applied. (For example after the vehicle is re-assigned.)
Fixed an issue where adding an email will delete all the existing emails.
Fixed an issue where editing address or several other field doesn't actually save the changes correctly on the flyout editor.
Fixed an issue opening invoices on contact editor and then close it result in an error dialog.
Fixed an issue where printing receivable payment receipt or statement at the enterprise results in an error dialog.
Fixed an issue where sending a Text-to-Pay request on the work order results in an error dialog.
Fixed an issue where text message is not sending out the appointment time correctly due to time zone difference.
New Work Order editor flyout
Work order editor now uses the new flyout for viewing and editing contact / vehicle.
Using the work order editor flyout, most of the editing of the contact / vehicle can be performed without the need to navigate another dialog.
You can also access invoices for contact / vehicle as well as other vehicle related information in the new flyout.
Prioritization popup detail
Added a blue bar to indicate a service package is actively being worked on in the prioritization detail popup. This is similar to the actual work order editor showing a blue bar for active service packages.
Changed popup detail for Technician and Resource tab to only show if the mouse is within the left vertical icon region of the block. This should also resolve some intermittent drag and drop issue due to popup being displayed during the drag and drop operation.
Change the popup detail for the General tab to show either on top of the current row or below the current row so it doesn't block the view of the row
General tab now only shows popup detail for WO #, Stage, CC, Flag, Appointment, Promised, Duration, Clocked column. All other columns will not show the popup detail.
Added an "Esc" hot key that will dismiss any current popup detail that's shown.
Updated the date display on the popup detail to use OS's short date format.
Fixed several text and sizing related issue for the prioritization popup detail.
Address certain cases where the popup detail remains open even when the Prioritization is not actively shown.
Work Order Disclaimer
Work order disclaimer can now be configured as Signature not required. This way the disclaimer can be selected, edited, and printed with work order but not requiring a signature.
If all selected disclaimer are signature not required, then the disclaimer can be saved without capturing a signature. If one of the disclaimer selected is not signature not required, then it will still require a signature for the disclaimer to be saved.
Appointment
Added a new "Default appointment to confirmed " Work Order setting under Location Setting.
This allow user to choose if new appointments are confirmed or not. It is default to confirmed.
Text-to-Pay
You can now use Text-to-Pay to Request payments for Receivable Accounts.
There's some additional setup options to setup text template for receivable account payment request and which messaging group to notify when payment is received.
Note: There's no Refund capability for receivable payment via Text-to-Pay. Refund will have to be processed manually.
Supplier Connection
Addressed some inconsistent handing of the Ship To and Delivery method for Tireweb.
Fixed an issue where Tireweb order does not work correctly when there is the same tire on multiple lines. Now the same tire will be consolidated and sent as a single line to Tireweb.
Address several case where the margin matrix rule is not being applied correctly when using certain supplier connection type where online order can result in different supplier being used,
Inventory
Added a note tab to inventory. Note can be set at enterprise and at the location.
Note can be imported or batch updated.
The note is shown in the inventory item tooltip. Enterprise note and location note will be combined if both are present.
Purchase Order
Inventory purchase orders now shows an additional Grid location column
Report
Added the Service Advisor column to the Deleted Work Order Summary report.
Payment Processing
Allow the payment processing transactions to be seen even if Text-to-Pay is not turned on. Such transactions can be coming from terminals that processed the transaction but didn't finish the invoice posting, or it can come from 3rd party via API.
Fixed an issue where completion status icon on the work order editor is not visible unless labor line has very long description.
Adjusted the work order editor to allow somewhat bigger work orders to be edited without going out of resources.
Added text label to identify the estimated usage is "per day" to the service item / vehicle detail page.
Fixed an issue where labor rate matrix rules are not displayed the rules correctly at the enterprise.
Fixed an issue where additional payment detail is not printed when entered using the manual entry when making a receivable account payment.
Fixed an issue where Core Status cannot be changed on the Estimate print document designer.
Fixed an issue where core value is not printed if the material line's rate is not printed. Core value should be printed for as long as the line total is printed.
Fixed an issue where batch update inventory attribute value does not work correctly for numeric attribute types.
Fixed an issue where WHI Nextlink is shown as a valid supplier option on Utility | Online Purchase. Online Purchase does not support Nexlink.
Fixed an issue in Time Clock Efficiency report and its drill downs where labor lines with 0 hr billed is not included.
Prioritization tooltip
There's a new popup detail replacing the old Prioritization tooltip on all the tabs.
The new popup shows a lot of information on work order progress including time clock and individual job completion status.
Icons and progress also has additional tooltip showing more status information and/or warnings.
Work Order
Added the ability to mark a service package as completed or in still in progress on the work order editor.
Fluid capacity on work order will now show Differential Fluid Capacity if available in the Epicor catalog. The differential fluid capacity is shown only and will not be applied to any lines.
Invoice
A new contact / vehicle icon will now show the new contact / vehicle flyout with ability to view and launch past invoices for the contact or vehicle.
View deposit transaction is now available on the invoice even if deposits are fully released before posting the work order as invoice.
Appointment
When creating appointments, lookup for future work now is using the same setting as New Work Wizard. So future works can be looked up for up to 16 weeks to prevent duplications.
Text-to-Pay
Cash receipt is now created as soon as the Text-to-Pay transaction is completed.
A new payment processing transaction and cash receipt is also created when the Text-to-Pay transaction is refunded.
This way any completed Text-to-Pay transaction that's used as deposit on the work order can be reconciled and deposited to the bank account.
Supplier Connection - CARQUEST
Updated how vehicle 1974 or older are handled because CARQUEST does not use ACES engine IDs and instead uses their own private internal engine IDs for catalog lookup. The application will try to match the ACES engine ID with CARQUEST's private internal IDs on catalog lookup.
Supplier Connection - WHI
Update WHI Catlink so that related parts is returned from WHI when doing look up by part definition.
Addressed an issue when there's no availability at any actual store but there is availability at view only stores. If user places an order, the order should still be allowed to be placed and should be sent to the main store.
Inventory Attribute
Batch update now allow color type of inventory attribute to be updated to Empty value.
Fixed an issue where on prioritization, after certain drag and drop operation, the item dropped is not visible on the screen and requires scrolling to see it.
Fixed an issue where it might take 2 clicks to select an item on the Prioritization screen before you can drag and drop to do re-ordering.
Fixed an issue with receivable transaction not being sent to the Accounting Link when an enterprise payment is applied to more than once.
Fixed an issue where automatic text template is not saved.
Fixed an issue where unconfirmed appointment is shown in Unassigned instead of Scheduled on the Technician Prioritization
Fixed an issue where Text-to-Pay is doubling deposited amount and showing the wrong outstanding amount.
Fixed an issue with New Message Alert does not display some message correctly.
Fixed an issue where work order in Work Completed workflow stage is not being processed in Prioritization.
Fixed an issue when you move to the next line, the inventory search doesn't search based on the new search criteria.
Fixed an issue where in some cases, a split returned item can not be split again.
Messaging
There's a new messaging alert system that can show both the total unread message as well as the last XX new messages.
The alert system is very configurable in terms of what to show, and where to show these alerts, including support for multiple screens.
User can mark message as read or open the work order if it's related to a work order right on the alert window.
User can snooze new messages for 1, 5, 15 minutes so the alert is removed from the view and only come back after the snooze interval.
The settings are persisted as per-user preferences and is retained across different computers for the same user.

Work Order Editor
The sidebar now shows vehicle submodel.
Supplier Connection
You can now search by part number on when using WHI or WHI Catlink connections.
Migrating to use WHI OrderLink for pricing & availabilities and ordering for both WHI and WHI Catlink connections.
Updated AutoZone catalog to make sure Warehouse availability is shown correctly.
Report
New Customer List Report for Enterprise that allow an enterprise to pull customer list for the entire enterprise in Last X days.
Very Important Reminder: Windows 7, 8.x are no longer supported operation system to run Shop Manager. They are also out of support and therefore a security risk to your shop. The Shop Manager application can stop working at any time without warning. And when it does fail to work, it will not be fixed. It is very important for all customer to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10.
Fixed an issue where contact editor shows an error dialog when looking at employee detail in the enterprise.
Fixed an issue where adding a chart to the report results in an error dialog.
Fixed an issue where the MSRP from the catalog is not applied to the material line.
Work Order
All "Work Order" document editor such as Estimate, Credit Slip, Credit Invoice, Invoice, now has a new side bar control
The document number has been bolded and moved to the very top for better visibility.
Added total, total deposit, amount paid and total outstanding amount to the top of the general information section to the side bar.
Contact and vehicle display on the sidebar has been compressed so more information is visible while taking less space.
You can now drag and select any range of cells on the sidebar and use standard Windows copy command "Ctrl+C" to copy the text. Now you can copy VIN or contact information easily.
Fixed an issue where sometimes the information on the sidebar is shown with a scroll bar
Combine the quantity with unit as well as unit price with unit to allow a bigger single field for printing so that it can accommodate larger prices better.
Save the entire work order just before user is allowed to add authorization or disclaimer.
Prioritization
Added a prefix in front of the work order # in Technician Prioritization to differentiate between Work Order (WO), Holdover (HO) and Appointment (AP)
Bolded the document number and contact name to make the item a bit easier to see.
Catalog
Updated catalog lookup wizard so that when a service package is selected on the work order and user starts the catalog lookup wizard, the wizard will start at that service package.
All services packages will still be looped through, it will start from the current service package until the end of the work order and the start from the beginning to finish all the remaining packages.
Vehicle specification and tire fitment
A live filter that allow you to filter down the result on the very top.
The find tool has been removed in favour of live filter available at multiple other areas of the application.
User can now drag and select any range of cells and use standard Window copy command "Ctrl+C" to copy any range of text.
In a future version the Copy button will be removed in favour of just using the standard Windows command.
Inventory
Added a < Reset > tool to the inventory attribute search parameter so that the user can clear the attribute search parameter.
Supplier Connection
Updated AutoZone catalog to show location address and individual locations and their availabilities in Network / Hub.
Updated WHI connection supplier to match WHI's integration specification.
Updated WHI Catlink to show full availabilities in the popup even if the location is a view only location.
Report
Added Document # as a column to Payable Detailed Listing report.
Added a new Time Clock Job Efficiency Report By Finish Time to allow this report to run based on job completion time.
There's a new special ATI Portal Report for those customer that needs it.
User Interface
The toolbar button for Messaging now shows how many unread message there is to a maximum of 99
Payment Processing
There's a new Payment Processing payment method that will remain in the system and will always be set to Inactive. User can re-arrange this payment method to make their payment processing entries such as 360 Payments to show up at the position they want.
There's a new Invoice Prompt setting on Workstation Setup | Settings | Device in the Signature Nature section. This allow the user to change the invoice prompt to document number so that user is no longer prompted with a total invoice value. Choose this if the shop feel that prompting the invoice total to the user is confusing.
BayiQ
Added employee ID when registering a BayiQ card.
Integration API
Updated the integration API to return based discount information on contact.
Enhancements to the integration API to allow some additional capabilities.
Fixed an issue where Work Order Quick Editor is not releasing the lock after the dialog is closed.
Fixed an issue where previous supplier connection query on deferred does not go onto the work order if converting from an appointment.
Fixed an issue where the unit does not reset to "Unit" after user switched from inventory item to supplied item.
Fixed an issue where total discount summary line is not printed on the invoice when it is printed while being posted.

Profit Indicator
The GP $ / hr profit indicator on the analysis tab is now available on the invoice and estimate editor

Fixed an issue where work order that got split across a break is being counted twice on the total work hours summary on the top of the technical prioritization.

Work Order Editor
Added a new Minimum appointment duration in Setup | Location Settings | Work Order. The minimum appointment duration will be used for calculating and displaying appointment on the scheduler or prioritization. The original setting of default appointment duration will be defaulted on appointment dialog but will no longer be forced as the minimum. This allow shop that want to have a minimum appointment duration for scheduling purpose to have that ability. This also allow the rest of the shop that does not want to enforce a minimum appointment duration to still have a default appointment duration that will be populated on the appointment dialog.
Added GP $ / hr display on the work order analysis tab.
The automatic message when work order status changes will now work when user is using a normal work order editor or quick editor.
Invoice Editor
User can now edit labor hours on the invoice. The total labor charge will stay the same as the invoice. But user can adjust the hour when they have the wrong hour / rate entered. The rate will be automatically calculated base on the hour entered.
User can now edit charge back values for warranty line on the invoice.
Scheduler
Adjusted the scroll bar on the technician list on the scheduler so that only vertical scrollbar will be shown when there's a long list of technicians to be displayed.
Employee Breaks

Added a new Quick Edit drop down from the Edit button on Work In Progress, Prioritization and Scheduler. The Quick Edit is also available on the context menu to allow user to quickly modify a few based information of the work order without the need to open the entire work order.
Batch Material Lines Entry
On the work order editor, when a service package or a line is selected, there's now a new Tasks – "Batch Add Material".
This is also available on the Service Package ribbon as a tool button.
The tool allow user to quickly add multiple material lines from inventory or just enter the part number, description as supplied items.
The tool allow user to then mark items that will be looked up by electronic catalog and finally allow user to create a purchase order for all the remain items.
Prioritization
Reworked how progress are calculated on the prioritization technician tab to handle holdovers better.
Labor Rate Matrix
There is a new way to define a labor rate matrix based on an existing labor rate.
The labor rate matrix will be defined as factors which will then multiply with the actual rate to get to the final labor rate.
The labor rate matrix will only be applied against the specified labor rate. When defining rules for the labor rate matrix, it will automatically be assigned to the labor rate code.
The display of labor rates on work order labor editor has also been updated so that the price range from labor rate matrix will not be shown unless the rule applies against that labor rate to reduce confusion.
Taxes
Added a "This tax is a sales tax" check box on the tax setup that will be exclusively used for Accounting Link integration to identify sales taxes.
Report
Added a Total Cost column to the Work Order Material Line Listing report.
Please note that the total cost is the best effort estimate based on when the work order is last saved. It cannot reflect the actual cost which can only be determined when the work order is posted as invoice.
Payment Processing
For Merchant Partner 1st Mile user, Manual Entry now have a Synchrony drop down so that 's easier to enter a missed Synchrony transaction.

Labor Rate Matrix
You can now create a labor rate matrix in standard or linear calculation type to have different labor rate depend on the total hours in a job.
The labor rate matrix is applied by rules defined similar to a margin matrix rule.
When a labor rate matrix is active, it is displayed on the labor line editor.
Holiday
You can now define holiday using the last day of the week for the specified month. You can now define Memorial Day in US correctly as it is the last Monday in May.
Automatic Messaging
Added a new setup that allow automatic message to be sent when the work order's status is changed. (e.g. from Estimate Completed to Work Authorized)
Service Package Template
In an enterprise, location can now open enterprise defined service package template and double click the lines to see the details of the line.
At the location, you can now override inventory material and tags defined on the lines without need to actually override the service package from the enterprise.
At the enterprise, there is a check box to lock inventory to the enterprise, if the enterprise does not want the location to have to ability to override the inventory association.
Online Appointment
Online Appointment how has an advanced setting button that allow the user to insert their own customized code into the header section.
This allow the user to insert in-line style definitions if they like to modify some aspect of the appointment web page.
This allow the user to insert <script> blocks into the header so that user can add their own google or facebook trackings.
User should be aware that adding any customized content will mean they are taking responsibility for proper functioning of the appointment web site as well as the security for the appointment web site.
Supplier Connection
New NAPA ProLink punchout integration for USA
NAPA ProLink punchout integration is now available for USA.
The punchout URL entry as been simplified to a drop down and user simply select between Canada and USA.
New supplier connection integration with Tireweb is now available for general use.
New supplier connection integration with RepairLink is now available for general use.
RepairLink supplier only requires a supplier setup with supplier connection type of RepairLink. It does not require any other parameter.
The user will only have to perform a login once for as long as they remain actively logged in on shop manager client. If they log out of the shop manager client, then another login will have to be performed.
Fixed an issue where older Work Order is not displayed on the Prioritization overview tab when it has holdover for today.

There's now a new Technician filter on the scheduler. You can pick and choose which technician to display or all. Easily switch to a single technician by uncheck All Technicians and select the one technical you want to display.
You can now categorize hold over on the scheduler either using the ribbon drop down or the context menu.
Tooltip display for the scheduler is revised to include the entry type, category, technician and hours.
Text Messaging:
Added an 1 hour delay between invoice is posted and the automated text message for invoice is sent out.
Resolved an issue with text messaging retrieval is a bit slow due to Swift SMS Gateway throttling the calls.
Supplier Connection:
Added a flag to allow Back Order for AConneX suppliers.

Contact Merging:
The client will now show a warning dialog if the contact to be merged from is an employee, an supplier, has receivable account, or has payable account but the contact to merge to is not.
This is to warn user when they merge an employee into a regular contact, or a supplier into a regular contact and result in a lost of configuration data.
Supplier Connection:
Alliance catalog now will display pricing returned by the supplier even if the item has no availability.
AutoZone catalog no longer displays an error if the search string does not result in any search category. Instead the wizard will stay on the search screen allowing the user to revise the search text and continue.
WORLDPAC's speedDIAL client does not behave correctly when more than one messages are send to it rapidly. This is especially true when placing order where 2 message will be sent to the speedDIAL client one after another. Trying to go round this issue by introducing some delay between the messages.
Added preliminary Repair Link integration.
Work Order Disclaimer:
Signed disclaimer can now be removed from work order by using Disclaimer drop down button from Work Order editor and choose Remove Disclaimer.
Disclaimer can now be imported and exported from Setup.
Disclaimer can now be setup at the enterprise.
Email Setup:
Added a new Email tab under Location Settings.
This allow a location to override email settings so that any workstation connected to the location will use this email setting instead of what's setup on the workstation.

Contact:
Changed the label on Contact Search from Add Service Item to Add Vehicle
Reminder Item:
Added a new setting "Reminder Item: Skip if there is no past service" under Location Settings on the Work Order tab.
By default this setting is off and everything works like how it use to work.
If this setting is on, then any reminder item that does not have any past service history will have no due date shown. It will also not be part of the appointment note when booking appointment during invoice posting.
This is intended for users who like to setup a very comprehensive reminder items for vehicles where user does not like to see any reminder being shown as due unless there's a firm past service history.
Technician Work Order Editor:
For completed work, technician is now shown a new star rating with up to 3 stars.
There's also an overall rating for the entire work order if the work order is completed.
The ratings are based on efficiency and is defined under Location Settings on the Time Clock tab.
Report:
Added a new Expand menu so that user can quickly expand to any level of group by.
For example if a report is grouped by Profit Center and then by Service Category, the expand menu allow you to quickly expand to just Profit Center, or to Just Service Category, or to expand them all.
When printing a report with group by, user will now be prompted to choose from Expand all groups, Collapse all groups, or to Keep all grouping as displayed. This allow you to print the report in summary form or partially expanded form easily.
Print Document:
Estimate
You can now choose to print deferred work on estimate just like work order.
Work Order
You now have an option to print deferred work in a condensed list.
In this mode, only title is printed and will all be grouped under Deferred.
Enterprise Setup:
Supplier can now be defined at the enterprise and pushed down to selected locations.
The location can still edit enterprise supplier's credit limit and online supplier configuration.
Fixed an issue with Receive is allowing description to be edited when receiving inventory.

Added the ability to use Search By Part Number directly on the Inventory Re-order and Batch Update dialog.
User will no longer have to do search by part number in the inventory setup area, then do a select all, and then click into Inventory Re-order or Batch Update.
Report:
Added the ability to freely select cells and then copy cell values to clipboard.
Just drag or click and shift click to select a range of cells. Then click the Copy button to copy the cell content to Windows clipboard.
Updated several technician report so that Efficiency is calculated based on Technician Hour instead of Invoiced Hour. This does not impact any user who do not use Technician Hour because in those cases Technician Hour always matches Invoiced Hour.

Enterprise Setup:
You can now add online supplier at the enterprise. The online supplier at the enterprise is only meant to be used for editing lookup criteria.
You will only need to add one supplier of type NAPA or CARQUEST for you to edit the look up criteria for that catalog type.
With appropriate supplier added, you can now edit lookup criteria of all types at the enterprise.
The work Fixed an issue where material line with sell price level of None is forced into Fixed Rate when opening the material line dialog on Work Order / Estimate editor.
Fixed an issue where sometimes invalid inventory associated with the material line remain associated, causing price level assignment issue.
Fixed an issue where invalid ledger account can be selected when doing an enterprise ledger transaction across multiple locations.
Parts Manager:
For parts that are on an open purchase order and not looked up by electronic catalog process, double click the line on the parts manager now will open the work order and stay on the work order tab with the material line selected.
Technician Progress:
A progress bar is shown for each labor line on the technician work order editor. There's also an overall progress for all works assigned to the technician on the work order.
On the progress bar, a warning icon and the remaining minutes will be show after the clocked hour reaches certain percentage of assigned hours.
You can define when the progress warning is shown in the Setup | Location Settings | Time Clock tab.
Material line templates now can have their lookup criteria overridden to whatever user want more easily.
Click on Lookup Criteria now shows the current lookup criteria. There's a new check box use to override the pre-defined lookup criteria. When checked, user can edit the lookup criteria to match their need. When unchecked, the pre-defined lookup criteria will be restored.
The lookup criteria override now is no longer depended on Definition so you can have Definition set and still override the lookup criteria.
The integration API now supports technician hours for setup template lookup, work order / invoice lookup, and adding / updating labor lines onto work order. 3rd party vendor will have to update their side to be able to support technician hours.
The work order duration is no longer shown on the technician work in progress or the technician work order editor because it is not applicable to the technician. Instead, total technician hour assigned for the work order to the technician is displayed.
Fixed several issue related to rate assignment for work order lines. This includes:

Added contact's first phone number to the prioritization general tab.
Added work order total to the general tab of Prioritization.
Technician Labor Hour:
Added a new hour tracking for labor lines called technician labor hour. This is to keep track of how many hours the technician should be working on the labor line (or get credit for) so that the shop can sell the labor lines at a different number of hours than the technician.
By default, the technician labor hour will automatically set to equal that of invoiced labor hour, but user can override at any time to use a different value on the labor line dialog.
Catalog labor matrix has been updated to allow for a Technician Factor. So that the existing Factor affects the invoiced labor hours, while the Technician Factor affects the technician labor hour.
You can set different fixed invoice hours and technician hours inside the service package template editor.
Work order's Labor Hour tab as been updated to show both Invoiced Hours and Technician Hours. The Efficiency is now calculated against technician hours for better accuracy.
The analysis tab's labor cost is now calculate based on technician hours.
Prioritization and technician work order editor has been updated to display technician labor hours.
A large number of reports that reports on invoice hours has been updated to show also Technician Hours so that user can decide if they like to continue to use invoice hours or to use the technician hours.
Work Order Wizard:
Added a new setting under Location Settings, Work Order Tab, called "Lookup future work for". This allow user to set how much into the future the work order wizard will prompt for future booked appointments. The default is 4 weeks which is we the program has been doing so far, but user have the ability to set it to 4, 8, 12, 16 weeks.
Work Order Note:
Added a setting Location Settings, Work Order Tab, called "Always show work order note when opened". If it is set, note will be automatically shown when work order is opened if there's any note entered on the work order.
Enterprise Bill:
Added the ability for enterprise bill to allocate portion of it to the enterprise directly.
User must keep in mind that any taxes allocated at enterprise is always treated as not reclaimable as there is no tax remittance process at the enterprise. If the tax is reclaimable, user will have to use reports and manually keep track tax remittance outside of the program.
By default, if location allocation is not set, then the bill is by default 100% allocated to the enterprise.
Messaging
Added new messaging setting that allow automatic notifications to be sent whenever the following occurs.
An inspection is completed by a technician.
All inspections on the work order are completed.
A service is completed by a technician.
The entire work order is completed.
This works in conjunction with Technician Work Order editor allowing automatic communication to either the service advisor assigned to the work order or a message group to receive notification automatically.
Supplier Connection
Added a special handling routine so that if the supplier did not return any cost after part is successfully ordered, the cost from latest query result will be used instead of set the cost to 0.
Handles the case where Alliance returns an error message instead of MCL during MCL download so that an error message will be shown such as the supplier credential is incorrect.
Bank Account Transactions
When printing bank account transactions at the enterprise, the location name is now printed.
When printing bank deposit detail at the enterprise, the location name is printed if the deposit is from a location.
Income Statement
Added the ability to show all account values as a percentage of income.
