Invoice History

Work orders become customer invoices, and you may find that you need to search invoices history from time to time. There are several methods for retrieving invoices. The best method is often what is most convenient given the type of information that you have and the Shop Manager feature that is most convenient for you to access.  

Invoice Retrieval Methods

Work-in-progress: If you know the invoice number of the invoice you need to retrieve or you are searching for a specific service that was performed, then we recommend that you perform a invoice history search using the Find feature within the work-in-progress.

 

Contact or Service Item: This method is best when you don't know the invoice number, but you have a rough idea of the invoice date. If you also know the service item, you can further refine the search by viewing only invoices on a particular service item.

 

Parts search: The Parts Search method is best when searching for a specific part (material) that was sold on the invoice.

 

After retrieving the invoice and opening it, you can then:

 

 

CARFAX Service History Check

The CARFAX History Check provides service information about the vehicle when serviced in a CARFAX supporting facility.

 

Do the following:

 

  1. Edit the vehicle on which you want to check the CARFAX.

  2. Click the CARFAX Service History button in the ribbon.

  3. A popup will appear that displays the service history from CARFAX.

  4. Click the Print button to get a printout of the CARFAX history.

  5. Click the Close button to exit the popup.
