Vehicle service history serves many purposes. In the software, each work order that is processed updates the appropriate vehicle card. This allows you to view information on archived invoices, view outstanding and due work for a particular vehicle, as well as analyze service history trends based on the vehicle's assigned maintenance plan.
There are 3 ways to access vehicle history:
Reviewing an archived invoice can provide you with significant information. The most obvious is the date the invoice was posted, the amount, and what was sold. Sometimes an invoice is retrieve to simply provide the customer with a second copy of the original.

The vehicle's history tab is a very powerful tool in helping analyze vehicle history trends. Based on the maintenance plan the vehicle is assigned to, you can quickly see if the owner of the vehicle is adhering to its maintenance schedule. It may also indicate the success of your service reminder program or if your service advisors are doing their part to sell services due.
