Authoring Pinpoint Inspections

• Choose Cancel to close the dialog without saving your changes.

• Choose Print to print or print preview the Service Package.

• Choose Remove to remove the highlighted Pinpoint Inspection line item. (Note that you may not remove a Pinpoint Inspection's Title.)

• Choose Insert to insert a new Heading or Inspection Line below the highlighted line.

• Choose Add to insert a new Heading or Inspection Line at the bottom of the list.

• Choose Update to update the highlighted line.

• Choose Save to save your changes to the Service Package and close the dialog.

The tools used to add, insert and update headings and lines are documented in the following topics.

1. Open the Enterprise, Franchise, or Setup Manager.

2. Drill down to display the master profit center and master service category where the new Pinpoint Inspection Template will be located.

3. Right-click the Pinpoint Inspection Templates folder and then click on New Pinpoint Inspection.

4. Use the Pinpoint Inspection editor's tools to update it.

2. Drill down to display the master profit center and master service category where the Pinpoint Inspection Template is located.

3. Double-click the Pinpoint Inspection Templates folder to display all Pinpoint Inspection templates.

4. Double click the Pinpoint Inspection name to open in the Pinpoint Inspection editor.

5. Use the Pinpoint Inspection editor's tools to update it.

2. Drill down to display the master profit center and master service category where the Pinpoint Inspection Template is located.

3. Double-click the Pinpoint Inspection Templates folder to display all Pinpoint Inspection templates.

4. Right-click the Pinpoint Inspection you wish to delete and then click on Delete.

1. Open the Location Manager.

2. Drill down to display the profit center and service category where the Pinpoint Inspection is located.

3. Right-click the Pinpoint Inspections folder and then select Pinpoint Inspection Templates from the context menu.

4. Click the Pinpoint Inspection you want to copy or select Copy All to copy all templates to the location.

1. Open the Location Manager.

2. Drill down to display the profit center and service category where the Pinpoint Inspection will be located.

3. Right-click the Pinpoint Inspections folder and the click on New Pinpoint Inspection.

NOTE: Although it is recommended that Pinpoint Inspections be authored as templates then copied to each business Location as required, be aware that you may easily author unique Pinpoint Inspections at the Location level. However, Inspections authored at the Location level may not be added to maintenance plans.

2. Drill down to display the profit center and service category where the Pinpoint Inspection is located.

3. Double-click the Pinpoint Inspections folder to display all Pinpoint Inspections.

4. Double click the Pinpoint Inspection's name to open in the Pinpoint Inspection editor.

5. Use the Pinpoint Inspection editor's tool to update it.

1. Open the Location Manager.

2. Drill down to display the profit center and service category where the Pinpoint Inspection is located.

3. Double-click the Pinpoint Inspections folder to display all Pinpoint Inspections.

4. Right-click on the Pinpoint Inspection and then click Delete.
