The Enterprise Manager

The Enterprise Manager is only present in the Enterprise Edition of the software. The software's Enterprise Edition is configured for enterprises with a head office, divisions and many locations.

How to use the Enterprise Manager

All The Managers are very similar to the Windows Explorer. There are two side-by-side panels. On the left is a hierarchical tree-view, and on the right, a summary of the item highlighted on the left.

Choose Update to update the item highlighted in the treeview
Choose a tool from the Add menu to add a new item below the highlighted node.
Choose Delete to delete the highlighted item (the delete tool will only be visible when an item is visible that may be deleted.
Choose Refresh to refresh the Manager (re-read it's data from the database - changes made to the Manager's data at other workstations are not automatically updated in the software's Setup Managers.)
Choose Close to close the Manager

TIP: There are context-sensitive right-click menus available in the tree-view to give fast access to the tools applicable to the highlighted item.
