Scheduler Overview

The software's Scheduler is very tightly integrated into both the work order system and the work in progress manager. It is designed to allow you to schedule new work directly from a work order or work in progress and to show up as scheduled work on the day of the appointment.

The software provides two scheduling systems:

Basic Scheduler

The basic scheduler provides a simple calendar that lists the appointments that are scheduled on any given day. You have the option of a daily or weekly view of the calendar where the customer name, vehicle, appointment time and promised time are detailed.

Advanced Scheduler

The advanced scheduler provides a more advanced calendar that details the shop and individual technician availability. You have the ability to toggle between monthly and daily views. The monthly view provides you with each day's appointment count, booked time, and available time. The daily view details each technician's allocated and available hours as well as what jobs are scheduled against them and when. All unassigned work is also listed so it can be allocated appropriately to the technicians. Work that is held over can be identified and allocated appropriately as required as well.

To enable the option that best suits your needs navigate to Tools | Workstation | Workstation Defaults and click on the Appointments tab.
