The batch entry dialog allows you to manually enter an employees time for a work order, job, or event.
Click the Time Clock menu on the main menu.
Click the Batch Entry menu item from the drop down menu.
Save/New - Allows you to save your current entry and start a new one.
Save/Exit - Allows you to save your current entry and then exit the batch entry dialog.
Close - When clicked, the batch entry dialog is closed.
Employee - Select and employee by clicking the drop down list icon .
Clock In Time - Click on the date to select the date of the clock in time. Then, type in the clock in time and the duration in hours of the time spent on the work order, job, or event.
Clock Out Time - If the hours were specified in the previous step this will automatically be calculated. If not, enter the date and the time to clock out of the work order, job, or event.
Clock In Only - If you only wish to record the clock in time then check this box.
Event - If clocking an event then select the event from the drop down list icon . Enter any note you may wish to attach then click either save/new or save/exit.
Work Order - Enter the work order number if clocking on a work order. If you are not clocking on a job then enter any note you may wish to attach and then click on save/new or save/exit.
Browse Labor Line - If you are clocking on to a job then click on the browse labor line. The browse labor line items dialog will appear. Double click on the labor line you wish to clock time on to. Alternatively, select a different work order and / or technician and search again by clicking the find button. You also have option on what to include in the search. Click save/new or save/exit to record your entry.
Clear Labor Line - Click on this to undo a selection you have made using the browse labor line function.
Note - Enter notes in this box before you click save to record notes along with your entry. These notes appear on the time clock summary report.
