The Work Order tab is used to add, modify and delete work order detail. In keeping with the storybook style invoicing, the work order is divided into 4 chapters.
Reported Problems - Contains all common complaints and is designed to depict what problems the customer reported. It can also contain the technician's reported problems reported from inspection results.
Inspections Requested - Contains all pin-point inspections and is designed to list all areas that we agree to inspect.
Services Requested - Contains all service packages and is designed to list all customer services requested and any services to be performed as a result of the technician's findings.
Materials Ordered - Contains any material items to be purchased that are not related to services on the work order.
To add problems and/or inspections:

The labor line item dialog consists of the following:
Apply - Applies the labor line item information to the work order.
Undo - Removes the last edit.
Labor Guide - opens the labor guide dialog.
Cancel - returns to the work order discarding any changes.

The material line item dialog consists of the following:
Apply - Applies the material line item information to the work order.
Inventory Item - Allows you to search your inventory for the material item.
Supplied Item - Allows you receive a part from a supplier, order or inquire online with a supplier, or add the part to a purchase order.
To receive a part from a supplier.
Catalog - Opens the electronic catalog dialog.
Undo - Removes the last edit.
Cancel - returns to the work order discarding any changes.

The materials ordered section allows you insert, update, remove and move material item using the same tools as mentioned above under the Material Line Items section.
You can edit the other charges and comment lines directly from the work order tab by double clicking on the line item. Use the same methods for modifying these items as when using the Edit menu. See Modifying a Work Order for further details in this chapter.
