Transferring inventory is a multi-step process:
The Requesting Location uses tools in their Reports Manager's Materials Price Catalog, or the Work Order Editor's Inventory search tool to search for another location which has sufficient quantities of the materials required.
The Requesting Location initiates a Transfer Request. Transfer Request documents may be created using tools on the Material Item Card, from context menus in the Location Manager or Price Catalog Report. Individual items may be added to existing Transfer Request documents prior to sending them to the Shipping Location.

To Review and Send a Transfer Request:
Sent Transfer Requests remain in the Purchases Manager of the Requesting Location, but appear in light grey. They may be opened, but in read-only mode (which means you may no longer change them).
Once sent, the Transfer Request will immediately appear in the Orders Manager at the Shipping Location the next time it's opened or refreshed.
The shipper's job at the Shipping Location is to print the Incoming Transfer Request (which could also be called a pick ticket) and fill the request.
Once the order is filled and the stuff is ready to ship, the shipper will use tools on the Incoming Transfer Request dialog to create a Transfer Slip. The new Transfer Slip will have the same number as the Transfer Request. The interactive Transfer Request Line Item dialog allows the shipper to update a line item, then scroll to the next line item interactively.
After the shipment is shipped, the shipper can show the shipment as sent and electronically send a copy of the Transfer Slip back to the Requesting Location using the Send This Shipment tool on the Transfer Slip dialog. After the shipment is shipped, the Transfer Slip will disappear from Shipping Location's Orders Manager
