Click the Time Clock menu on the main menu.
Click the Clock In / Clock Out menu item from the drop down menu.
To clock in or out of events you first have to login to the time clock. Type in your password and then clock on the Login button.
Action - Allows you to toggle between the Clock In and Clock Out dialogs. By default, when you login you will be in the Clock In dialog.
Clock In - When you have an event selected, clicking on this button will clock you in to that event.
Clock Out - When you have an event selected, clicking on this button will clock you out of that event.
Clock Out All - Clicking this button will clock you out of all events at once.
Refresh - When clicked the dialog contents will be refreshed.
Close - When clicked the dialog will be closed.
The summary displays the current date and time and the individual that is logged in.
This area lists the events you are currently logged into.
This area displays jobs events that are currently assigned to you, events that are assigned to others, and a list of custom events that are available to you.
Beside the total assigned header you will see how many jobs have been assigned to you and what the total sold hours are on those jobs.
My Work - This folder holds all the work orders and jobs that have been assigned specifically to you. When you click the + sign beside the work order a list of individual labor items will be listed for that work order.
All Other Work - This folder holds all the work orders and jobs that are unassigned or have been assigned to others. When you click the + sign beside the work order a list of individual labor items will be listed for that work order.
Events - This folder holds all the custom events that are available to you.
Any labor lines that have zero dollars and zero hours will not be displayed and are marked complete automatically.
Highlight a work order, job, or event and then enter a note in this field before you clock in or clock out of it and a note will be attached the log on the Time Clock Summary Report.
To clock into jobs make sure you are viewing the clock in dialog. The current dialog is shown in the title of the window at the top left. If you are in the clock out dialog, click the action button to switch views.
To clock in to a work order, labor line item, or event, right click on it and then click the clock in context button.
Read and answer any prompts.
The work order, labor line item, or event moves up to the jobs currently clocked in area.
To clock out of jobs make sure you are viewing the clock out dialog. The current dialog is shown in the title of the window at the top left. If you are in the clock in dialog, click the action button to switch views.
When you are currently clocked into a job you can simply clock into the next job and you will automatically be clocked out of the current one. It is not always necessary to switch to the clock out dialog to clock out of jobs.
To clock out of a work order, labor line item, or event, right click on it and then click the clock out context button.
Read and answer any prompts.
The work order, labor line item, or event moves out of the jobs currently clocked in area.
To clock out of all jobs at once, click the clock out all button at the tope of the dialog.
Blue – currently logged to (usually attendance and some other work order, job or event).
Red – work order or job that the employee has not logged to yet.
Magenta – employee has logged to this work order or job, but when logging off, indicated that the work order or job was not complete.
Green – employee has logged to the work order or job and when logging off, indicated that the work order or job was complete.
When a production employee has logged off of a work order and indicated that the entire work order is complete, the work order in work in progress will be bolded, indicating to the service advisor that the employee has finished with the work order. From the Work Order tab, a labor line can also be indicated as completed by Updating Labor and clicking the Completed box.
