There are different degrees of setup required depending on the catalog in use. In general, the more seamless the integration, the more options there are available to you. Unique options and features will be noted throughout. It is important to note that catalogs must be enabled by Support before than can be configured and used. Whichever catalog is set as the default catalog will be used for the stand alone catalog and control the catalog button in work order integration.
Each workstation will need to be configured for the catalogs in use at that workstation. The instructions for doing so can be found in Workstation Defaults & Settings.
Epicor (formerly Activant) eLaborExpertTM - The eLaborExpertTM is configured automatically.
Epicor (formerly Activant) ePartExpertTM - The ePartExpertTM is configured using the following instructions:
As a subscriber, you have access to Epicor (formerly Activant)'s electronic parts and labor catalog known as ePartExpert® and eLaborExpert® respectively. The catalog is very tightly integrated with the Software and saves an enormous amount of time on the counter during estimating. In many cases, each business location will have a different setup due to part supplier relationships.
The dialog allows you to select which manufacturers and product lines you want to display when searching for parts applications. In short, you will match your catalog to the part supplier's inventory. If you are setup to do online ordering with your supplier, you may also download your supplier's coverage know as Master Catalog Lines (MCL) automatically if they are setup up for online ordering through IAP® or AConneX® .
To access Electronic Catalog setup.
Report - Allows you to report the manufacturers settings to screen (Preview), PDF, Print or export it to as a text file.
Refresh - Refreshes the screen to show any changes.
Tools - Allow you to set or delete the highlighted manufacturer's coverage. This is also available from the context menu on each manufacturer's line (right click).
Close - Exits Electronic Catalog Setup.

On the left hand pane you will have your catalog ID displayed and all the manufacturers listed underneath in alphabetical order. If you do not, check your catalog setup for the workstation. The information can be found in Workstation Defaults & Settings.
When a manufacturer is shown in bold there are one or more lines chosen to display from that particular manufacturer. Clicking on the + sign to expand the supplier will show you each individual line from that supplier available in the catalog.
To select an entire manufacturer.
To select an individual manufacturer's line.
To delete coverage for a manufacturer or line.
The Epicor (formerly Activant) eLaborExpertTM , Epicor (formerly Activant) ePartExpertTM ,and Napa® catalogs have additional features available to automate parts and labor searches when using service packages. For instructions, refer to Service Package Labor Lines and Service Package Material Lines .
Tip: If you have multiple catalogs configured, it is recommended that you disable all but the most frequently used catalog and build your automatic searches for it. Not all catalogs use the same search criteria or terminology.
Once you configure an online supplier as using the Wrenchead catalog, the catalog is enabled and ready to use.
Once you configure and online supplier as using WORLDPAC speedDial, the catalog is enabled within the software.
Important: You must install the speedDial software and have successfully logged into your account before you can use the software's integration.
Note: WORLDPAC also supports AConneX style online ordering using the Epicor (formerly Activant) ePartExpert and is the preferred integration type.
